The Studio

Sun Spun Pottery is a solar-powered pottery studio located in Amherst, Wisconsin. The kiln, the wheel, and even the heat are all electric, and the studio is connected to a 13kW solar array so we produce more electricity than we use! 

The Pots

Pieces are wheel thrown, trimmed by hand, and then fired in an electric kiln. Pots are then glazed with food-safe glazes, and fired again. 

All pots are dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
